AQVIA introduces two new light flavors, Raspberries & Pomegranate and Guanabana & Strawberries, with sweetener made from the stevia plant. The sweetener is often regarded as a healthier alternative to other sweeteners on the market, which have contributed to its popularity.
- Sweeteners made from the stevia plant has many benefits that gives new possibilities for us to meet the demanded combination of great taste and low-carb drinks, says Armando Chévez, Regional Product Specialist at AGA Gas AB.
The Stevia plant is a relative of the chrysanthemum and has been appreciated and grown as a sweetener by indigenous people in South America for about 200 years. Sweeteners made from the stevia plant have a negligible effect on blood glucose as the product in it´s pure form contains no calories and are rated as a zero on the glycemic index (GI). This is a benefit that makes these sweeteners a natural low- and no-calorie alternative.
– Sweeteners made from the stevia plant and fruity flavors are very good combinations in general and the AQVIAs Raspberries & Pomegranate and Guanabana & Strawberries, are great flavors in particular, says Armando Chévez.
AQVIA Raspberries with a twist of pomegranate and AQVIA Strawberries with a twist of guanabana will be available in for purchase by the end of October. One bottle contains 580 ml concentrate and gives 5,8 L mixed drink containing less than 1 calorie.
